Kult of the Cyber Witch
The Kult of the Cyber Witch, which I managed to get printed copies of at BSides Perth last year, apparently no longer exists.
It’s mentioned very sparingly across the internet, see:
- http://www.evildaemond.com/recommend/2018/
And still exists on Itch, where you can download the issues from 2018 and 2019, but it seems like other than that it’s been scrubbed from the internet. The linked Twitter account says created in 2021, so I think the original they made got deleted, and their Mastodon and GitHub accounts are gone which seems to confirm this. Their website is down but exists on the Wayback Machine for now. It’s odd, I saw pieces from Alex Hope who I didn’t meet until a year after they’d written them. I thought at the time it from 2025 or at least 2024 and this was something they’d made more recently.
It’s another lost project unfortunately. I was really looking forward to seeing more recent issues or maybe submitting something myself. But if anyone involved happens to see this, just know there’s definitely interest and I would be willing to help.
